Audible book review of A Survival Guide for Life by Bear Gryll

A Survival Guide for Life: How to Achieve Your Goals, Thrive in Adversity, and Grow in Character

Written by Bear Grylls and read by Tom Patrick Stephens who I mistakenly thought was Bear Grylls when I started listening.

I have read and listened to a lot of inspirational/ motivational books most filled with just a few good points and the rest dribbling mumbo jumbo. I purchased the Audible version of this and enjoyed every moment.

It is a fairly short Audible book at only 3 hours and 33 minutes but filled with so much inspiration and motivation. Most of this comes from his own life experiences, his military service and his amazing sense of adventure such as building and flying para gliders up to 29,500 feet. This and much more such as climbing Mount Everest after he broke his back in a free fall parachute accident.

There is so much meat in this book I don’t want to give anything away or misquote his words, I would just suggest that you listen.
