Voodoo Ranger Atomic Pumpkin Review

So we have no misunderstanding, until now I have always hated pumpkin flavored foods and drinks other than pumpkin pie.

I was looking through the coolers of our local liquor store and I found the New Belgium,  Voodoo Ranger Atomic Pumpkin.

It is described as “Pumpkin Ale featuring cinnamon and habaneros chili peppers for just the right amount of heat.

I assumed that I would try one and give the rest away but I had to try it. Besides I am a big fan of the New Belgium brewery. Friends and I have visited the Denver area a couple of times and I have come to enjoy this brewery.  To my surprise it was well worth it, this is a very good beer. This has just the right amount of burn after, but a great taste as well.

Even though one or two of these at a time is more than enough before switching to something else this has a light crisp and very enjoyable flavor. I also want to look into adding some heat to mom’s pumpkin pie recipe.

I can’t pick out all the different flavors in beers, this is defiantly something I have to work on but the description on New Belgium’s website is spot on.
